Why we started

My wife Peggy and I have always loved fires but inevitably, it always seemed to be a bigger hassle to start and enjoy a simple fire.

Our fire pit was wet because we didn't put on the cover. We hadn't cleaned out wood from previous fires and things were a mess. Our wood pile got wet. There were always reasons why it seemed harder to do a simple thing.

Light a fire and simply enjoy it. We didn't want to use gas. A gas fire is not a real fire; right?

DoorDash is food as a service. Uber is transportation as a service. Why not fire as a service?
